Bilbo Baggins is a great place for a party. Especially rehersal dinners, corporate functions, baby showers and holiday functions.

Let me give you the scenario of a typical rehearsal/corporate/holiday dinner.

First, we print up a special menu highlighting the special event at the top. [Recent menu]

We start with a fresh fruit and cheese platter/cocktails for the first 15-20 minutes. This allows your guests to enjoy a little bit of food and a beverage while waiting for everyone to arrive.

We begin with a small house salad and a choice of usually three entrees; a chicken, beef, and fish dish, Red and white wine are served throughout the meal followed by dessert and coffee.

(If there is a vegetarian we can list a vegetarian entree. If there are children attending the event, they have a choice of kid's pasta, chicken fingers, hamburger, or grilled cheese sandwich, Usually, the guests have been to the restaurant before and know the quality of the food and service.)

The price that I will quote you is an estimate and includes 1 drink per person, 20% gratuity, and 8% tax, It all averages out to be approximately $48-$52 per person. (If the party consumes more alcohol, the price will increase. The food is a set price off the menu.)

In order to make a reservation I you need to sign a contract which simply states:

  1. The reservation/room charge policy which states that the allotted time for your party is 2 1/2 hours for parties of up to 40 people and 3 hours for 41 and more. The seating capacity is up to 80 people.

  2. The deposit/room charge is $500.

  3. If the party runs over the allotted time the deposit/room charge will be forfeited.

  4. Cancellation Policy: Should you cancel your reservation at any time, the deposit fee will be charged as a cancellation fee.

We print the menu and limit the choices to help expedite the service which will insure that your party will not be delayed.

We require a phone call to confirm the number of people three days before the set date. You will be billed for this guaranteed number at the time of the event unless the number increases.
